Atlanta GLOW’s Young Women’s Leadership Conference (YWLC) will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018 (9:00 AM – 3:30 PM) at the Mansour Conference Center. This conference brings together leading professionals from all over Atlanta including entrepreneurs, educators, trailblazers in the corporate and philanthropic sectors, and government and civic leaders with the ultimate goal of encouraging, educating, and equipping young women to be thriving, self-sustaining leaders and effective agents of economic growth in their communities.
Conference attendees will have the opportunity to participate in developmental workshops that build upon their enthusiasm for community change by equipping them with the skills needed to gain sustainability through post-secondary education and career advancement, build influence and local capacity, and work with government to bring about valuable changes to their community. YWLC is an annual opportunity for highly motivated young women to:
-develop leadership and soft skills;
-increase self-confidence and inform decision making;
-renew mindsets and get a fresh outlook on life;
-explore their purpose and career interests;
-expand networks and access mentors;
-learn how to impact their communities; and
-improve their odds for college and career success.
During the conference, Atlanta GLOW will also award one rising or current college student with a $1,000 scholarship to assist in her college journey as a part of our Titus 235 Scholarship Competition. Additionally, two runner-up applicants will be chosen to each receive a $125 stipend to support college-related expenses.
Each $35 registration includes admission to conference sessions, a limited edition notebook and pen set, continental breakfast, lunch, and digital access to all conference content! For more information, or to register, please visit – www.atlantaglow.org/ywlc
